The dissections series can be used by teachers and students when learning anatomy and physiology of living things.  Information presentations are provided along with a video of an actual dissection.  Instructions and worksheets to use can be downloaded if an actual classroom dissection is to be conducted. 
Gapminder http://www.gapminder.org This is a remarkably diverse and interesting site.  This site provides free software that you can use to visualize human development.  Its made by an interesting collection of groups including the universities and UN.  It allows you to graph population features like life expectancy, population counts etc. against other population features with different country data. Its interesting, very visual and easy to use.  It also allows you to move through time.    The site will provide the necessary information and graphs when studying succession and population dynamics in Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry.  Students can use the information obtained from the site to create presentations using spreadsheets or even create their own graphs. 
Google Sky  http://www.google.com/sky  This tool allows you to find the positions of the planets and constellations on the sky and even watch the birth of distant galaxies as seen by the Hubble Space Telescope.

Put students into teams and have each team explore one location or phenomenon, such as the Crab Nebula or a planet. Have students find five very interesting things and develop questions such as, “What is the very bright thing in the middle of the nebula?” Have the teams swap question lists. Each team then searches for the answers to the questions the other team created.
